Summer: A Dragon
Summer sun seems
A red dragon to me
Winged and thorny
Emitting fire relentlessly
Burning all emotions
Killing plants and forestation.
Puffing out hot winds
I search green meadows 'neath my feet
Flora and fauna look up for mercy
At the lingering sun
Soft petals wilt and dry
Only heat thrives.
'Coz of men's greed
Due to deforestation
Nature loses its charm
Summer becomes hotter each day
Glacier and icebergs melt
A foreboding omen,
A dragon.
