Monstrous virus covid-19
wrecked the world
frightened the people
giving pain and despair.
Locked behind the four walls
united we pray to Lord in our hearts
for mercy and blessings
for these days to surpass.
Looking back n' forth
is this a curse or a boon?
but mother earth has healed her bruises
air and water pollution decreases.
The storm always subsides
our faith is strong
behind the masks
we've kept are smiles and hopes alive.
Trust in Lord intensifies
patience strengthen with each passing day
with a hymn to creator
a belief he is forever by our side.
