Micropoetry is a collective term for a variety of different forms of short poetry. As a poetic art form, it doesn't really have any rules. Although it does consists of certain forms of short poetry with fixed rules such as Haiku, Tanka, Senryu and Gogyohka. There are also no real character length limitations either.

in tranquillity quiesce love
birds weave aerie in a
 rainbow of life to
sing sonnet of
love unbound
in lovely
galore.

The nonet poetic form is simple. It’s a 9-line poem that has 9 syllables in the first line, 8 syllables in the second line, 7 syllables in the third line, and continues to count down to one syllable in the final (ninth) line.

magical melodies of stream
ushering blissful solace
enchanting as sonnet
mesmerizing heart
in nature's love
in own depths
tranquil

Haiku is a form of poetry that focuses on a brief moment in time, and a sense of sudden illumination or enlightenment. A haiku is usually composed of seventeen syllables in three short lines. The first line often contains five syllables, the second line seven syllables, and the third line five syllables.
