Today I write Haiku, a Japanese style poetry form. Its a three liner traditional poem. The origins of haiku poetry can be traced back to the time of Matsuo Basho (1644-1694) a great Haiku poet. He once served as a household Samurai of a Japanese lord but after his death, he quit his job and went in pursuit of his dreams. He mainly wrote about nature.
1.
Pains echoes from heart
entwined in life and death
a quest for purpose.
2.
Tall coconut trees
Sways gently on the seashore
musing beholder.
