November 9, Saturday became the historical day in the history of India when the Supreme court settled the oldest  Babri-Masjid -Ram Janambhoomi land dispute.
The decades of legal battle, centuries of history and thousands of lives lost in violence have culminated into this verdict.

The Government of India had taken appropriate measure to tackle and handle the sensitive issue with heavy deployment of army personnel. Social media were active, portraying live telecasts and updates. Hindus and Muslims were strongly concerned about this issue but both sides had a calm mind and ready to accept the decision given by the bench of five honourable judges.

Ayodhya embarks the Janam Bhoomi of Lord Ram The Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi proclaimed the construction of Ram Mandir on disputed site based on ASI  reports. According to Supreme Court order, a management trust will be set up for the functioning and maintenance of the 2.77-acre land. The Sunni Waqf Board has been given five acres of land at Ayodhya to build a mosque.

Sobha De the great columnist had her own say when she raised the question "had there been a female representative of this extraordinary case would the verdict have been different? Perhaps not." she mentions.

I think India has withheld its peace, secularism and harmony. It has understood the sentiments of both religions. This is a portal of synthesis between Hindus and Muslims to empower an era of tolerance and brotherhood.

The unity and integrity of India has stood the test this time too after a series of new changes and events. Now its hour for government and people to ensure that the temple and mosque be built in Ayodhya that will act as a bridge and strengthen the bond between two communities
