Summer Shimmers
Clear and serene sky of summers and golden sunshine
of our distant dreams,
of snow -white mountains and the melody of rivers crooning
of the love between you and me.
The never-ending warmth and love
all through the ups and downs all year long,
in the cold winter’s chill that we bared together,
we got through, we held on.
Each new dawn starts with a promise to stay together till the end,
Began every day, anew with the warmth of sun rays on my face
until the stars peeked through and the moon glowed
I fell in love with you .
They count years
but couldn't measure my fears
The sorrows and struggles of years many ago
the spring brought hope and wiped my tears
the winter laden with thick snow !!!!
