Remember You
Remember when you asked me to choose between you and the life afar
As we lay on the grass wishing upon a shooting star
I replied, perhaps if our paths are meant to entwine
And you begun to sigh in resign
But still those doors I want not shut
Because oft what hurts is the truth
Might I fear my heart broken or rejected
Yet, today when I pause and look back
My heart aches for I hadn't said it
When you walked out of my life
Because all I wanted was that you stay
Maybe If I had my emotions worked out
If only I had mustered the courage
To say my choice out loud.
