Candour and Artifice
Like two sides of a coin
Pride and humility, two emotions, reside side by side
Fluttering wings of beauty, wealth and mirth
With pride full in your pocket thou walk
The cause of self-destruction and morality fall
Pride, like the dark clouds of midnight glooms
Veneers thy soul, curtailing and throttling it
A nuance you catered to imagining thy self the moon
but its radiance it borrows from the sun
So walk with pride albeit wearing an invisible cloak of humility
And Lord will walk by thy side
Be humble and help others
Compassion and kindness be thine ornaments, nay wealth and knowledge
Humility is calm and composed
Like fragrance of passion flower, heavenly and divine
Let humility be your guardian angel
pure and pristine
The greatest gift of being human without pride.
