Atonement
Why regret and repent?
Why say sorry?
Why choose wrong o'er right
And live a life in atonement?
When the choice is ours
Why go to temples and churches
To confess for sins long done
Life is too short and fragile
Thou better change thy attitudes and behaviour.
Why keep on adding bad karmas
adding regrets, remorse each day
To be carried onto the next life
And live another life of atonement?
