Lost in the solitude of my emotions

drenched in hatred and betrayal,
as I gazed upon my perturbed life.
My feet dragged me towards the
 dreaded path of despair.

The pandemonium of my heart lurked,
The glint of daggers of
accusation and hatred stabbed me,
as dead in a coffin I lie.

I met my soul as a shining ray of light,
 enlightening my being, showing
the purpose of my life in this lone world
Why do I seek a plinth in humankind?

My thoughts awakened by the Divine light
 in the sculpted canopy of trees.
the clouds of darkness faded into oblivion
and hope arose making me
believe in myself forever...
