Father's Day
An emblem of solidity
A father-a guru,
whose presence in which
child feels in heaven.
Parts with his carefree life,
sacrifices his wining and dining like
for the world of whining and diapers.
The patience and warmth he showers.
A thrilling toss in the air,
with assurance, I will hold you dear,
not all storms disrupt life,
some come to teach a lesson in life.
Discipling and protecting naturally,
Monitoring and mentoring emotions.
A colossal pillar of strength,
a spectrum of affections he extends.
An open umbrella of a lineage.
He wipes off the tears,
rubs off the fears,
showers his blessings in all endeavors.
Like sunshine on a gloomy day,
he guides the way miles away
the courage he imparts to be a true sentinel,
the quality of integrity which is
timeless and eternal.
Those who lose father in their life battle,
debt and gratitude tears cannot unravel.
I ask O' Father of fathers.
Why Lord?
Did thee, admire him more than me
that he summoned him thither?
