My silence
Under the veil of abject nonchalance I retreated into the shadows,
My songs of agony and lyrics spun with endearment echoed in his meadows,
While the lonely tree whispered winds of my insouciance..
Resting my unfulfilled wishes under the duvet of memories,
I walk through the caliginous night with dripping desires,
Soothing summer winds beckoning me to the place where love prevailed,
Caressing breeze murmured softly about our gorgeous nights where crescent moon smiled..
Such was the enigma of ebullient stars,
Sole witness of our love and teary-eyed war,
Ever since I shrivelled like a leaf dwelling in autumnal cries..
Only shimmering stars witness of my silence.
