Pulse of Silence
I sit quietly with thoughts running in my mind
The silence gives more space, each breath tangled by a knot of thread
Pulling as if a tug of war is going inside me.
The world is moving at its own pace
Folded away, I'm fighting with my thoughts alone
Even the faint pulse hits beneath my ribs
Hollowness strikes my heart in slow motion!!!
