The Hive Within

by - August 20, 2025

Smitten by sugarcoated words
I was stuck in a honeycomb,
Buzzing in hexagons designed by others
Collecting pollen to make nectar,
In a hive not truly mine.
Sweetness masked
Torn in fragments, my soul lost,
I wish I had never known.
Now I craft my own comb
One cell at a time,
With my own pace
That's why they seek my story.
