LOOKING BACK AND LOOKING FORWARD

“Tomorrow is the first blank page of a 365-page book. Write a good one.”
― Brad Paisley

It is my pleasure to announce that my blog Flavours of life has turned one year old. In its growing up it has been nurtured with lots of love from subscribers and readers around the globe. The day seems to have slipped like sand and yesteryear has become the memories. I slide the curtain to peek to get the glimpse of the year January 2019 when my first post on Flavours of life was published. We stood together hand in hand celebrating all events and festivals throughout.
It was a year of learning and sharing of thoughts. I would like to mention my poems have been published in anthologies book by Poetry Planet Publishing House along with other poets and several poems in Indian Periodical. My poem "India" also found a place in anthology book by Asian Literary Society which will be published in early 2020.
Dear readers, thank you for love and support you extended. I will continue to boggle your mind every Wednesday.
Let's join our hands in prayer so that peace and love prevail in the world and welcome New Year 2020 with hope and anticipation.

New Year

The curtains of New Year unfolds
and yesteryear begone
become a memoir
with some feats and failures
prejudice and pain of bruises in the heart.

Unstoppable timegloomy or golden
 slips leaving essence precious
with new hopes and resolution,
to create a magical and lovable world
free from pollution.

It's time to celebrate and welcome
new year wholeheartedly
healing wounds of aggression within
with love warmth and beauty
to cheer the New Year 2020.
